App privacy information

Updated October 8, 2026

This recovery companion provides public educational and fellowship resources. It does not provide clinical records, confidential messaging, emergency monitoring, or treatment. No recovery entries are sent to MAA or ICGH.

Gratitude entries and meeting reminders are stored in this browser only when you choose to save them. Saving a daily connection stores that person’s name, number, role, and your commitment in this browser. Anyone using this browser may see saved details. Use the clear or remove controls, or clear website data, to remove saved entries. Saved gratitude is cleared when the app next detects a new day. Unsaved entries disappear when you close or reload the page.

Calendar exports share event details with your chosen calendar provider. Calendar notifications are managed there. This MAA app does not currently send push, email, SMS, or meeting notifications. No OneSignal subscription is enabled.

Basic app files are cached for offline use. Videos and external resources need an internet connection. Hosting services may process ordinary technical connection information. The app contains no advertising pixels. External websites, Zoom, email, calls, texts, and calendar services have their own privacy practices.

Recovery resources belong to their respective organizations. Inclusion does not imply endorsement. Please do not email health records or other sensitive information. For app questions: medicationassisted12steps@gmail.com.
